Popular parks in Saigon

One of the city’s most attractive green spaces is 10-hectare Tao Dan Park, its bench-lined walks shaded with avenues of towering tropical trees, including flame trees and huge Sao Den and So Khi trees. It’s fascinating to visit in the early morning and late afternoon when thousands of locals exercise. The city’s bird lovers (mainly elderly gentlemen) also flock here, cages in hand, to what is universally known as the bird cafe.

It is 3.5 hectares in total area, with 2.5 hectares covered by greens. This is a really nice space to meet with friends in the evening and just relax and chat while having some food or a drink. It’s a very chilled space and attracts lots of locals just taking time out during their day. Many people also come here to just play the guitar or walk to exercise. A really nice space.
